We were the first farm in the history of the program to receive a perfect score from this rigorous program and the first farm to do it twice. Sue Anne Kleinpeter Cox, Kleinpeter Farms co-owner and Chief Financial Officer, was dubbed a “wonder woman” by the Baton Rouge Business Report. Cox is one of the magazine’s nine Influential Women In Business, 2008. Kleinpeter was cited for turning her love of numbers and computer programming into increased efficiency at the dairy.

Kleinpeter Farm is American Humane Certified

For its humane treatment of cows, Kleinpeter Farm received a rare certification from the American Humane Association. Kleinpeter Farm was the first dairy in Louisiana to become certified as American Humane Certified by the American Humane Association. The dairy passed a detailed inspection and policy review to ensure it provides the best animal care possible. Kleinpeter Farm met the thorough guidelines with flying colors.
